About this event:

LA HI-TECH Career and Internship Symposium at Pierce College will be hosted by the LA HI-TECH Pathway Initiative, The Bixel Exchange, and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Pierce College and our Local High School students will have the opportunity to interface and engage with professionals in the fields of:

• Media Arts
• Journalism
• Film and Television
• Computer Science and Information Technology
• Computer Applications and Office Technology
• Graphic Design and Digital Design
• Geographical Information Systems

Additionally students will also have the opportunity to participate in LinkedIn and resume workshops, as well as engage in an industry panel with professionals who are at the top of their respective fields.

• 9:00 - 9:25 am- Welcome
• 9:30 - 11:30am- Career Workshops for Interviewing and LinkedIn
• 11:45 - 12:30 pm- Lunch iwth the Pros
• 12:30 - 2:00 pm- Industry Panel
• 2:00 - 2:30 pm- Close
